To use message pinning you would first need to create a message within the chat room. Then you would use the UpdateIM API call to pin that particular message at the top of the chatroom.

Here is more documentation on that API call https://developers.symphony.com/restapi/reference/update-im

I have also included a link to an example of using UpdateIM via our Python BDK https://github.com/finos/symphony-bdk-python/blob/main/examples/services/message_update.py

Hi @<1328712139367518208|Vinay Mistry>

how to set a welcome message in IM/ROOM without having any greeting message from client or end user.

for eg.,
current model we have is, once we sent "hi" to bot. BOT will check for the word and replay with - How May i help you (with few Symphony Elements options).

Without sending any "hi" to BOT, is possible to show the Welcome messgae (how may i help you) ?

Because post getting the "Hi" we will have the streamId, using that we can able to reply. But to post the welcome message without streamId is possible ?

any other solution or suggestion.

Kindly do the needful.
